The 9 traits a player is rated on

Each is scored 1–10. The behaviours listed are what a coach is actually looking at — they print on the report so a family can read what the number meant.

    Control with both hands; protecting the stick; cradling under pressure; changing hands; control at speed and through contact.

    Passing & Catching

    Accuracy, timing, velocity and variety; catching cleanly on either side and in traffic; passing and catching on the move; quick-stick ability.

    Shooting

    Mechanics, accuracy, velocity, placement, release speed, shot selection, shooting from multiple angles, finishing in unsettled situations.

    Dodging

    Creating separation with speed, change of direction, footwork, deception and physicality; split, roll, face and change-of-direction dodges.

    Off-Ball Movement

    110 · tactical

    Cutting, spacing, timing, sealing, picks, slips, clearing space, relocating after passes.

  6. 06

    Defensive Positioning

    110 · tactical

    Footwork, body and stick positioning, approach technique, communication, slide recognition, recovery.

    Ground Balls

    Locating, approaching, scooping, protecting and exiting with possession; toughness through contact; transitioning quickly to offence.
